The church in Jackson has been meeting since 1992. There are 65 saints, mostly working ones, with a good number of young people, college, graduate and young adults.

Jackson is the capital and most populous city in Mississippi. The city sits on the Pearl River and is located in the greater Jackson Prairie region of Mississippi. Jackson has several major industries. These include electrical equipment and machinery, processed food, and primary and fabricated metal products. The surrounding area supports agricultural development of livestock, soybeans, cotton, and poultry.
It is home to two Historically Black Colleges and Universities; Jackson State University and Tougaloo College. Jackson State University is the fourth largest university in Mississippi and only doctoral-granting research university in the region.
