Background
The Lord has been gathering seekers together in the Reno area for a number of years to meet as His testimony. Currently, the church life in Reno consists of 41 saints. There are also numerous new community and student contacts. Three saints live in nearby Carson City, with some contacts there as well. Weekly meetings include the Lord’s Table and prophesying meeting, a prayer meeting, and a Friday night meeting at the campus house. The campus house is located 1.4 miles from University of Nevada, Reno (UNR). The campus house also has a monthly Bible study for new ones, as well as some gatherings and dinners for students.

The City of Reno
Reno is located in the northern portion of the state, approximately 50 miles from Lake Tahoe. The city sits in a high desert at the foot of the Sierra Nevada and its downtown area occupies a valley informally known as the Truckee Meadows. It is part of the Reno–Sparks metropolitan area, which consists of both Washoe and Storey counties, and has a 2013 estimated population of 437,673, making it the second largest metropolitan area in Nevada. .
